The Loch Raven Skeet & Trap Center is proud to offer National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) sanctioned events. Scores shot at these events are recorded as registered targets. Our first event of the 2008 year is the annual Curt Castle Open on Sunday February 17, 2008. This is a 2-Gun Shoot for both 12 and 20 Gauge. All registered shoots offered by LRSTC provide Juniors and Sub-Juniors the opportunity to shoot at significantly reduced rates. At our 2-Gun shoots, you are provided a Free Lunch. Also if you win your class as Champ or Runner-up at any of our 2-Gun shoots, you are entitled to get one free registration at any 4-Gun shoot. The Curt Castle is named for one of LRSTC's now legendary squad members of the 1950's and 1960's. Curt was not only a top flight shooter, but a great guy. He was a loyal member who long served as our Field Captain, yet still found time to initiate new shooters to the sport. Curt died a couple of years ago and he is very much missed by those who knew him. The Curt Castle Open on Sunday, February 17, 2008 (12 & 20 Gauge) has an entree fee of $42.00 per gun. Shoot either gauge or both. There are two rotations for each. The first rotation of the day starts at 9:30 AM. The Center is now taking reservations for all our 2008 registered Skeet Shoots. To register, contact our Skeet Chair, Paul D'Amato by phone at (410)666-7758 or email Paul_Damato@verizon.net.
