The
weather continues to favor us and things are really popping.
It certainly shows up in attendance as we are filled to
overflowing particularly on Sundays. As a result of this good fortune,
we've received numerous inquiries and concerns
about shooters being stacked up in waiting queues while all fields are active.
So this message is issued to address that concern directly.
LRSTC welcomes members, non-members and new shooters to shoot
as much and as often as they wish. We don't want to discourage anyone from
enjoying our sport; but we do need to give everyone a fair opportunity to do so.
Courtesy and consideration for others dictates a few basic rules which are
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
1. Lets fill up our squads to the normal compliment
of 5 shooters whenever we can. All shooters are urged to willingly
accept any additional shooters needed to fill up their squads. We are
seeing far too many squads of 2 or 3 shooters while others wait. As you
look around and see other shooters waiting, please invite them to join you if
your squad is not already full.
2. When others are waiting there is a limit of 2
rounds for the squad. The squad is asked to give up the field after 2
rounds and let others have a chance. Feel free to take a break and then
queue up on another field if you wish to continue. In the interest of
fairness and courtesy, you must limit your squad to 2 rounds while others are
waiting.
3. When others have joined your squad after 1 round and
you still see others waiting; please have the courtesy to leave that squad at
the end of your second round so that others can join to fill up the squad.
Don't hesitate to take a break and queue up on another field if you wish to
continue.
4. If you are already queued up and waiting, please ask
to join an existing squad if it is unfilled. If an existing squad is
already filled, please ask them if this is their second (or final round).
If the squad has already completed 2 rounds, please don't hesitate to remind
them that the Center management rule is:
