2010 HUNTER SAFETY COURSE

 The Maryland Hunter Safety Course has been offered through LRSTC for many years now.  If you wish to hunt in Maryland or are interested in Gun and Hunting Safety, you need this course. This is an excellent opportunity for interested parties of any age - boys and girls, men and women, and parents and children.

Mr. Ben Jenkins is the coordinator and the teacher of this important and valuable course.  In 2010, it is being offered 3 times; early Spring, late summer and early fall.

The Spring course registration is Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 5:30 - 8:30pm in the clubhouse.  The classes will be held on two subsequent weeks on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings; March 2 & 3 and March 9 & 10  from 6:00 - 9:00pm.  The cost is $10 per person to cover the cost of materials.

The late Summer course registration is Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 5:30- 8:30 pm in the clubhouse.  The classes will be held on two subsequent weeks on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings; August 17, 18 and August 24 & 25 from 6:00 - 9:00pm. The cost is $10 per person to cover the cost of materials.

The later Fall course registration is Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 5:30-8:30 pm.  The classes will be held on two subsequent weeks on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings; September 14 & 15 and September 21 & 22 from 6:00 - 9:00pm. The cost is $10 per person to cover the cost of materials.

You must register in person. Come to the clubhouse anytime during registration hour; complete the registration form and obtain the handbook (yours to keep) and review it over the weekend.  The course is taught on the Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for the two weeks immediately following registration.
